The Hong Kong International Sevens was held at the Kai Tak Sports Park from 28 to 30 March 2025. Congratulations to Shanna FORREST, a Year 2 student in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Physical Education and Recreation Management programme at Hong Kong Baptist University, who represented the Hong Kong China Women's Rugby Team and won the Melrose Claymores Championship! Meanwhile, students from the PERM 3015 Event Management course of the same programme also had the valuable opportunity to volunteer at the media centre, gaining meaningful and rewarding experience!                   2025.01.08 IMG-20250108-WA0044 Congratulations to the HKBU Rugby Teamfor their outstanding achievements in the 2024-25 USFHK Rugby Competition Congratulations to the HKBU Rugby Team for their outstanding achievements in the "2024-25 USFHK Rugby Competition"!   The 2024-25 USFHK Rugby Competitiont finals were held on January 5, 2025, at the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium, marking the first event at the venue.   The HKBU Women's Rugby Team defeated the VTC with a score of 22:7 to secure third place. Following that, the HKBU Men's Rugby Team won the championship by defeating the formidable City U with a score of 10:7 in the finals. This victory not only ended City U's four-year winning streak but also marked HKBU's second championship since the 2017-2018 season.   Congratulations to the Hong Kong Baptist University Rugby Team for their remarkable achievements and bringing honor to the school!               2024.11.23 NWY1 Honorable Recognition for Ms Ngai Wai-yan (PERM) from the HKSAR Government Congratulations!!!   We are thrilled to celebrate Ms Ngai Wai-yan for receiving commendation from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on November 23, 2024, honouring her remarkable contributions to society!   Chief Executive's Commendation for Community ServiceNgai Wai-yan ( Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Physical Education and Recreation Management)     Ms Ngai’s impressive achievements in international windsurfing competitions are matched only by her passionate commitment to community service, where she tirelessly works to enhance the quality of life for others. Her hard work and dedication have truly transformed lives and uplifted our community. Let us unite in celebrating this extraordinary honor!      2024.05.28 442509709_911648741003074_8351428076330286336_n Congratulations to PERMer Chan Ho Yuen Daniel for winning 2 Golds in the "Bahrain Para Badminton International 2024" Congratulations to PERMer Chan Ho Yuen Daniel for winning 2 Golds in the "Bahrain Para Badminton International 2024"   The Hong Kong Para Badminton Team achieved a remarkable 3 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medals. In particular, our PERMer Chan Ho Yuen Daniel stood out by winning two gold medals in the WH2 men's singles event and the mixed WH1/WH2 doubles event with Belgian player TO Man Kei.   Congratulations to Daniel and all the winning athletes!!!   Daniel's results are as follows: Men's WH2 singles #Chan Ho Yuen – Gold Mixed WH1/WH2 doubles #Chan Ho Yuen / TO Man Kei – Gold             Source: HKSAPD, Chan Ho Yuen Daniel's Instagram   2024.05.21 SH  CKL Congratulations to PERMer Cheung Ka Long for winning the "Foil Grand Prix men's final at Shanghai Chain" Unstoppable Cheung Ka Long has won the championship in the #Foil Grand Prix men's final at Shanghai Chain!  Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sports and Recreation Management at Hong Kong Baptist University, second-year student Cheung Ka Long defeated the United States Gerek Meinhardt by a score of 15-7, securing his second individual championship of the season.
