Wai Hang Sports Centre

The Wai Hang Sports Centre, located at Kam Shing Road, provides a wide range of sports facilities for students, staff and alumni. The facilities include an activity room for dancing and table tennis, a fitness room, a multi-purpose classroom, a multi-purpose hall which can be used for badminton, basketball, and volleyball activities, 3 squash courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and two rooftop tennis courts.

Sports Hall in Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun Sports and Cultural Centre

Sports Hall in Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun Sports and Cultural Centre is the newest sports hall located opposite the Academic and Administration Building and adjacent to the Joint Sports Centre. This hall can be used for badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, and dancing activities.

The Dr. Stephen Hui Sports Hall

The Dr. Stephen Hui Sports Hall is another multi-purpose hall located in the David C. LAM Building. This hall can be used for badminton, basketball, dancing, gymnastic, table-tennis, and volleyball activities.

Joint Sports Centre

In addition, students and staff can use the sports facilities at the Joint Sports Centre, which is jointly owned by the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The Centre is located next to the Shaw Campus and has a grass soccer pitch, a synthetic all-weather running track, facilities for field events, four tennis courts, a golf practice area, and a multi-purpose synthetic surface court for five-a-side soccer, volleyball, basketball and handball activities.

Eligibility of Users

Students, staff and their immediate family members, and alumni are eligible to use the facilities of the Sports Centres. Some facilities are free-of-charge, while others may charge a nominal fee. Details of the fees and charges are displayed at the notice board outside the Sports Centres or their official websites.
